I see makeup as creative expression, a way to show the world who you are, and to feel good about the way you look. Whether it be natural, simple and understated or a full on go-for-the-glam: we can accomplish that together. There are so many aspects of makeup ~ colors and textures, shadows and illumination, intensity and impact ~ it all starts with a vision.
I tip-toed years ago into the beauty industry, drawn to The Body Shop because of its natural products and ethical beauty practices. From there I grew my passion and artistry skills and learned my craft. Working for global brands like Nars, Estee Lauder, Smashbox, Laura Mercier, Trish McEvoy, Laura Geller and Stila shaped my signature-style of artistry.
Becoming a licensed esthetician was always on my radar for ‘someday’, so I completed the 600 hour program at Elizabeth Grady in Boston, obtaining my license in 2021. What’s under the makeup matters, and how we care for our skin affects the end result.
Lastly, making people feel beautiful l is my passion. Working with friends, brides, and new clients always excites me. I believe that beauty is ‘more than just a pretty face’, and is a way to connect confidently with yourself and others. Donating my time & skills to help friends and clients that are in treatment and/or survivors is not only an honor, but part of my mission. Keying fashion shows that fundraise for Dana Farber , along with product donations to local shelters and women’s groups allows me to give back to those in need.
